Its influence extended beyond Greece to the Mediterranean, Central Europe, and Russian markets. Thanks to the careful cultivation, rich soil, abundant water, and unique microclimate of our island, the lemon has earned a reputation as the most fragrant, preservable, and marketable fruit with high nutritional value.
