"Andros' Lemon"
The company Andros’ Lemon was founded in 2022 as the culmination of an original collaboration that started in August 2021, producing and distributing on the island of Andros the concentrated lemonade “Ev Andros”. The company is targeting a wide range of activities in the agricultural sector, with the main one being the processing of citrus fruits into juices, spoon sweets, and jams.
Andros’ Lemon, respecting the tradition, the people, and the products of the island, seeks to revive the great history of lemon through partnerships and synergies that will arise.
To achieve this, Andros’ Lemon has created the appropriate space with the necessary equipment for receiving, extracting, preserving, processing, packaging, and promoting its products, and for which:
- it has received, under protocol number 1686, an exemption from environmental licensing from the Department of Industry, Energy, and Natural Resources of the South Aegean Region.
- it has submitted the notification of the establishment of a manufacturing activity under number 1256972.
- it has submitted the notification of the operation of a manufacturing activity under number 1265943
It has begun informing producers, regardless of size, to collaborate with them from as many areas of our island as possible.
Our scientific partner, guide, and trainer is Christos Mantas, a Food Engineer and owner of RENOVA. Our future plans include increasing lemon input and production of concentrated lemonade, production of other products such as spoon sweets, jams, lemon zest, essential oils, and others that will emerge through testing and market research.
The parties involved in the Andros’ Lemon have distinct responsibilities for its proper functioning. From the field.. to processing, marketing, and distribution. It is a collaboration of different characters and personalities with the ultimate goal of strengthening and developing the production of branded, quality-certified products from the blessed land of Andros.
